My wife and I live in central New Hampshire in the beautiful Lakes Region. We started our journey with Labradors in 1997. This was the first year we co-owned Cannon with our friend Mark Dickson. This was not the first Labrador that we had known though, as I had one growing up. "Fergus" was a nice black boy. He was a bit over weight. (someone once said he weighed in at 120 lbs!) Fergus never missed a day of going cross lots to the neighbors for his chocolate chip cookies or in the summer going to Salt Marsh Pond for a swim. In the winter he could pull a sled UP hill faster than I could slide down it! Our first son, when he was a toddler could often be found taking a nap with Fergus curled around him. So after our Cocker Spaniel died, the timing was right and Cannon came into our lives. Little did we know that nine years later we would be breeding Labrador puppies in our home.
We are known as small breeders, breeding one or two litters a year, always with the thought of producing puppies that will grow into dogs closest to the Labrador standard and to further our breeding line. In doing this we hope to produce puppies that are not only great companions but are able to compete in conformation, obedience, hunting and agility.
When we are not breeding pups you may find us at Obedience classes, showing dogs at dog shows or going to breeding seminars.
